The career firefighters of the NASA Ames Fire Department provide structural fire suppression services, aircraft rescue fire-fighting (ARFF) services, emergency medical services (EMS), hazardous materials response services (HMIT), and technical rescue services (confined space, high/low-angle, and trench) to the NASA Ames Research Center and Moffett Federal Air Field facilities and property.
